Holistically Meditating Yourself Slim and Empowering Your Mind with Sarah Anne Stewart

Holistically Meditating Yourself Slim

As someone who battled bulimia, I know the true never-ending journey of looking within. I interviewed holistically slim creator Sarah Anne Stewart in this week’s Fit, Fierce and Fabulous Podcast episode to learn more about meditation and how empowering your mind with stillness can welcome slimness into your life.

Sarah opens up and gets REAL, we chat about how she landed in the ER and made her passion into something with much deeper meaning and connection. She talks about her meditation journey and how to really meditate which I know for most of us is huge! The resources she provides in this episode are great as well, I know you will learn so much just from her story and feel inspired to look within instead of outwards the next time you want to embark on a change!

In This Episode You Will Learn:

  • Why meditation is so powerful and how you can use it to meditate yourself slim
  • How subconscious pattern that prevents you from moving forward
  • Use social for good and learn to be aware of the community you surround yourself with
  • Why you can’t stop your thoughts, just like you can’t stop your heartbeat and learn how to live with them in peace
  • Resources for starting your meditation journey

Some Questions I Ask:

[10:36] – I would love for you to share your story of being a model to becoming a health coach, what did that look like??

[14:24] – What does your meditation look like…how do you get someone who is all over the place to sit and meditate?

[22:29] – How did you control your diet back then, how has that changed?

[25:05] – How do you work with your clients to find that?

[28:27] – How can we practice doing this more in our lives?

[32:39] – How does one free themselves from all the those misconceived ideals?

[38:28] – What are some choices that you’ve made that have made you who you are?

[40:41] – Morning rituals?

[44:09] – What does Fit, Fierce and Fabulous mean to you..

[46:27] – How can we get in contact with you..

Learn More about Sarah Anne Stewart:

sarah anne stewart

Sarah’s eating disorder story started when she signed a modeling contract at the early age of 14. With agents barking at her to “stay skinny,” and, “don’t eat until next week,” fears and anxiety around her weight soon consumed her entire life.  After a decade of disordered eating, and almost losing her own life to anorexia (she woke up in an NYU Hospital bed, told she must make a change if she was going to live!) she finally found her saving grace:

Through meditation, Sarah ‘discovered’ along her journey that “what to eat” is only a small piece of the big puzzle. Sarah found herself with several degrees and certificates in nutrition, only to still find she was making the wrong food and lifestyle choices. It was this that led her down the path to the “inner” exploration of having a healthy life – and helping individuals sift through their thoughts, challenge their limiting beliefs, and raise their standards of what they truly want for their body and mind.
