Ow do I love a good cocktail!
The thing is most cocktails are loaded with sugar, full of excess calories without any nutrients so for me I am strategic about my drinking. As much as a pina colada or a cocktail from the menu sounds crafty, I always skip them because to me they are not worth it to me even though they look quite tasty which makes me get creative behind the bar.
I learned about HUG Wine when I attended an event last year and instantly fell in love with the light taste of natural elderflower extract, natural mint extract, and pure lemon juice. The taste is refreshing so when I came to craft this cocktail I wanted to bring out the lemon and add a nice berry to it to complete the flavor. At 140 calories a serving this sparkling wine is the best!
Grab some girlfriends and try this cocktail out:
Low-Calorie Sparkling Wine Recipe
- 1 bottle HUG L’originale Sparkling Wine
- 1/2 cup strawberries
- 1/2 cup blackberries
- 1 lemon
- 1/2 cup Italian Sparkling Water
Chop up lemons, strawberries, and blackberries. Fill pitcher with items and add sparkling water until about half of the container is filled up. After that top off with HUG L’originale Sparkling Wine. You can continue to add sparkling wine to keep it filled and soaking in the delicious fruits.
