Visualize Your Dream Body Right Now With These 3 Simple Tips

How to Visualize Your Dream Body

Imagine this, you have a fit and healthy body that craves vegetables and exercise?

This is possible, yes even if you hate vegetables and exercise, you can visualize this to be true.

After reading this article I would love for you to get on board with a healthy mindset, healthy lifestyle, and feeling fit, fierce and fabulous. I want you to use these three steps to visualize your dream body right now!

How to Visualize Your Dream Body

Hack number 1 Goal setting: I’ve talked a lot about this in the past like in this post and this one. You may have done it, you may have thought about it, but in this moment take out a sheet of paper and write down a goal you can measure and start today.

Having a key goal like a performance goal makes it fun and keeps you active in pursuing your goal.

Here are some examples to inspire you:

  • I want to be able to do 10 push ups
  • I want to be able to run a mile in 4 minutes
  • I want to enter into a 5K and train for it four days a week

Having a goal you can actually measure is key to your success. If you feel stuck or in a rut set a fun goal you have always wanted to accomplish. It’s key to making shifts happen.

Hack Number 2 Visualize It: I’ve been talking about this stuff since 2012, and I finally have a certification to prove I know what I’m talking about and that I wasn’t totally crazy back in the day, even with those horribly produced YouTube videos. Remember Starsystemz Channel? Basically, If you cannot visualize what it looks like to have a healthy lifestyle, you will ultimately fail.

What does it mean to Visualize?

Athletes, Oprah, CEOs, all these people, they visualize in their and head and in their mind what they want. That is my biggest hack. I know it has nothing to do with your food, it has nothing to do with your workouts, It’s visualizing that you can make anything you want to happen

How to Visualize?

Let’s visualize for a minute. Read this passage and the questions that go along with it before closing your eyes.

Start by seeing yourself. What do you look like? Think of the details, your hair, your clothes, your shoes, and your stance. How are you feeling in this moment? What does your environment look like? Where are you and what time is it?

Now imagine what going to the gym or setting up for a workout looks like. Are you rolling out of bed, are you packing a gym bag before heading off to work? Imagine yourself getting ready to workout.

After that, focus on what your workout looks like. Imagine yourself walking on the treadmill or opening the door to take a jog outside. What does that look like? What is it feel like? Imagine yourself looking at your phone picking out a playlist. What playlist are you listening to? Flo rida? I love Flo rida that’s my jam. When you can see things like that you can visualize what it looks like to have a healthy lifestyle. What is it look like when you wake up and work out? How does that fit in your day to day routine? Are you running after work with your pack gym clothes and running over to that gym? Are you waking up, rolling out of bed, putting your socks on, with your eyes half closed, making yourself a little coffee before you get in the zone, you have to imagine what that looks like?

But what about my eating habits….

I always advise my clients to show up for their workouts first. Once you start moving your body you automatically start making better choices with your diet. Understanding how much exercise it takes to burn a certain about of calories makes you second guess that extra slice of cake.

Questions to Ask Yourself:

What does your plate look like? Are you enjoying the food that you’re eating? Are you trying new vegetables looking for recipes online, that fit in with your healthy lifestyle? You can sit and visualize and see what that looks like. It becomes that much easier becomes reality becomes something that you strive for and that you want in your life. You can start attracting that type of lifestyle in your life. All of a sudden, all these great healthy recipes popping on your Facebook feed, or a friend is telling you about this new workout class that she’s trying and she absolutely loves and she loves you to join her, these types of things are going to happen if you visualize them. If you don’t have support around you, find support. There are so many opportunities especially nowadays with the internet for support. It’s a beautiful gift that we have been given the internet. A lot of people using it for negative things but you can use it for to find support, and whatever you want in your life, with your goals, your dreams, your visions, think about what you want and visualize it.

Hack Number 3 Mindfulness:  Being mindful of how what and when you eat is a huge key to living a healthy lifestyle and one that is not spoken about enough. I always find it funny when someone asks me how many carbs should they count. As much as this technique works because it does, actually being mindful of the foods you eat, slowing down and chewing your foods and enjoying them will automatically make you eat less.

I am going to teach you how to eat again…

When you eat, when you sit down and eat, you’re going to sit up straight, you put both feet on the floor, and relax, you’re going to breathe before you start eating. It can be so easy to be on Instagram, while you’re on the phone, driving, and just shoving food down your throat. You’re not thinking. You’re just eating. Not thinking about what you’re eating, you might be starving because you haven’t eaten since breakfast, and it’s already almost 5 o’clock so you just find whatever you can, be mindful when you eat. Slow down, it’s okay. Breathe, chew your food, connect with your food, what does it taste like? What does it smell like? What does it make my body feel like? Do I enjoy this type of food that I’m eating? Does this type of food make me feel good? It is a huge key to my success in keeping tone and fit all year round, is I’m very mindful on what I put in my body. I think about it, I chew it, I see it, I enjoy it, I enjoy, If you guys follow me on Insta stories, I meal prep usually on Sundays unless I’m out of town, You can watch me, I love it! It makes me happy, I try new vegetables, and look up new recipes, and try new things, or my twist on a recipe that I find. I enjoy it. I’m very mindful of what I eat. And the choices I make I’m out to eat. Because I know that when I eat certain foods, they make me feel like good. I want that for you too. That food that you eat should make you feel good. That should make you feel beautiful inside and outside when you eat a healthy diet, you feel good. I’ve never in my life in the ten years I’ve been doing this, met someone who ate a healthy diet, that didn’t feel great. The only time is that I met someone who’s really healthy and they’re not eating enough food, maybe they feel a little bit tired, but like you know 98.9% of the time people who are eating and conscious about what they’re eating, tend to be a lot happier, have more energy, maybe they don’t have six pack abs, but they have flat stomach. They don’t feel bloated and gross all the time. They feel good.

So put down the junk and be mindful of what you’re eating. We all know you need more vegetables, we all know that you need to prepare your food, but you have to ask yourself why am I not doing this? Why am I not doing this for myself? Because you deserve it. Right? We all deserve to treat ourselves like Princesses and Goddesses right? So you need to ask yourself that question and I know can be a little alarming sometimes when you ask yourself like why am I not doing this for myself? I mean it’s not that hard? Living a beautiful day and age where it’s so easy just to get healthy food right?
