Summertime is almost over, can you believe it? I saw all the blog posts on the Nordy’s Anniversary Sale and I was like OMG summer is over..but since I live in Vegas and it is SUPER hot until September, at least that is what I am told, I have been dreaming up a brunch outside with my girlfriend sipping on delicious cocktails crafted by me. I love to make fun cocktails an laugh until the sun goes down. True story, I used to be a bartender and short story, met my husband bartending at a lounge in Los Angeles.
I am the queen of balance, some days you find me with a super clean diet, some days you find me sipping on sangria munching on chips and guacamole. I believe that life is to be lived, simple. If that means having a hardcore leg day and have a champagne campaign that same night, then so be it.
I carefully crafted these delicious cocktails in honor of the word “balance,” so if you are like me and want to train hard, eat healthy but laugh with your girlfriends while sipping cocktails by the pool then here are your perfect combos to make that happen:
Healthy Brunch with Suja Juice
Berry Me in Sangria
- 750 mL bottle of light red wine
- 2 bottles SUJA Berry Goodness
- 1 cup Soda Water
- 2 oz. Vodka Unflavored
- Stevia Drops
- 4 Lemons (2 squeezed, 2 for floaters)
- Strawberries for Garnish
- 2 Pitchers
Take one pitcher and fill with ice and pour all the ingredients (except strawberries) inside. Shake by pouring from pitcher to pitcher, add strawberries at the end.
Wake Up Sunshine
- 1 bottle champagne (I used Martin and Rossi (my favorite EVER)
- 2 oz. Vodka
- 1/2 a bottle of SUJA DayBreak Probiotic
- 1 bottle SUJA Mango Magic
Shake DayBreak, Mango Magic and Vodka in a shaker with ice. Pour champagne and top with mixture. Garnish with Grapefruit or Citrus Fruit.
Bestie Brunch Punch
- 2 Bottles SUJA Twilight Protein
- Dark Rum
- Handful of fresh Mint Leaves
- 1 Frozen Banana
- 1/2 cup Frozen Strawberries
Blend all ingredients except mint leaves in a blender until smooth. Put ice in glasses along with mint leaves. Pour blended mixture into mason jar, add in mint leaves and stir.
There are a few things I love about SUJA, one being you can order these juices ONLINE and have them sent to you, you can buy them at Target because Target is LIFE and the brand itself is just simply amazing.
I used to be a big juice person when I lived in LA, then I stopped because many of the juices that lined the shelves weren’t organic and weren’t cold pressed which are two things that MUST be to experience all the wonderful benefits of juicing. The fact I can buy a cold pressed organic green juice while grabbing household items and other random things at Target is astonishing to me and shows that the world is making big leaps towards getting healthier and making it EASY to do so! I love this!
