You may read this title and wonder who Sey is + I am about to introduce you to the coolest, chicest and hippest athleisure in Bangkok. When I say athleisure, I mean gym clothes that you can wear as regular clothes and it is perfectly acceptable because nowadays brands like Sey have come out with clothes that just are WAY too cool not to be worn outside of the gym.
I pretty much live in my Tie Dyed Leggings with a large top and sneaker wedges (post coming next week) on the weekends and that adorable High Neck Crop gets worn as a top after a Ballet Barre class to meet for coffee with friends. I know I am not the only person running around town in a workout outfit that I have managed to flip into an errand outfit, do you do this too?
After launching my coaching business this year, I have been hustling and bustling around town meeting with clients for check ins on top of my personal training clients + I launched a fitness tank line (more on that soon), so I always need an outfit I can rock my workout in and then quickly change it into something that is presentable for a client check in or just a quick coffee with friends which is why I love there versatility and coolness factor of these outfits. As a California girl, tye-dye always has me and the shape and fit of these outfits is unreal especially the two piece. After taking these photos I was tempted to run into the pool + jump in!
Lately my workouts have been consisting of kettle bell training, EZ curl bar training and LOTS of booty work. Post competition, I have just been enjoying my workouts, playing around with toys and seeing what type of weight I can push at the gym which is always challenging mentally and physically. I love kettle bells because I truly feel like a badass swinging it around and if you ever need a stress release you can just blare some music and swing it pretending to knock whatever is bothering you at the moment out of the way!
One of my favorite workout movements right now is Squat to Press. I love that it works the entire body and how much I have improved my hamstring and shoulder strength with this movement. Whenever I need to do a quick workout I always include Squat to Press, Deadlifts, Front Squats and Chest Press for four exercises that give me a full body workout when I am pressed for time. Squat to Press is my favorite though because I always work up a sweat and I get to work both of my favorite body parts at the same time, shoulders and booty!
